
Joshua Zucker-Pluda is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles and available world-wide.
His work has been shown in the New York, Telluride, Venice, and Toronto International Film festivals and included in the esteemed Criterion Collection. He has shot several of the #1 most-watched music videos on Youtube.
His work with Metallica was nominated for the prestigious “Best Music Video” at the 2023 Camerimage Festival.
As a cinematographer, he has collaborated with directors such as Alex Garland, Dave Meyers, Alma Har’el, Laurie Anderson, and Jim Jarmusch.
After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2001 with a degree in film production, Joshua spent the next several years ignoring common sense touring in punk rock bands. He then returned to film as a cinematographer working on commercials, music videos, narrative projects, and documentaries.
Joshua currently holds an MFA in Cinematography from the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles and is a Director of Photography in the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600.
